I used to live near Chicago, then I lived in Los Angeles, now I live near Chicago again. That about sums it up. Father of two. NCTV17 Sports Director.
I think you should record the pod from the bathroom anyway even though you couldn’t make the trip. Holiday games are extra stressful but man when you win them it’s an amazing feeling. Let’s crush the Bears next week. Happy Thanksgiving to all of Lemps nation!

What a fun game to return to Lambeau for after 17 years! So much fun to see the defense take complete control in the second half. I do think Love seemed banged up still. His throws didn’t have the same zip and obviously the handoffs were odd so I won’t complain about the conservative play calling.

I’m going to Lambeau for the first time since 2008 next Sunday so I can’t tell you how happy I am to see this win heading into that game. We all needed some positive vibes. Drops spoiled what otherwise was a great performance from the offense. Defense was frustrating but made just enough plays.

It seemed like the defense was trash yet they only gave up 16 points and 100 yards passing. You should win with that. The offense seemed like trash and yet drove inside the Panthers 30 on 6 of 7 drives and never punted. You should win with that too. Such a weird, frustrating and heartbreaking game.

After going over a month without a win, I’ll take it. Defense has to come up with more answers for the quick passing game, but I have to credit Flacco, he balled out on a short week. Frustrating to watch but I tip my cap to him and Chase. A turnover would be nice once in a while though.

Civale probably already had a personal champagne celebration in his house a few weeks ago when he switched from the White Sox to the Cubs.

Kinda looks like he’s saying 7 days until Packers football.

Yeah Favre and Rodgers were universally beloved by Packer nation for 15 years each before the tide turned in some form or another. Love does seem very low key compared to the others, which is promising.

50% based on my dislike for Mizzou and 50% based on me just knowing ball.

Packers love versatility. Can play slot or outside.

Nobody is claiming the 29-31 Packers were the greatest dynasty ever or should be on the NFL Mount Rushmore. We just want people to acknowledge their existence and what they achieved.

Whatever it takes to convince Ben to leave with Brady and get out of the NFC.

The loss itself is not too painful compared to many in recent seasons. Especially considering the MASH unit that would have limped into Detroit if they had somehow won.

What is hurting right now is staring down 8 months until the next meaningful Packers game.

Others have already pointed out wanting to be cautious because of Stroud, but Stroud was also head and shoulders above the rest of the rookie QB class last year.

Daniels has been the top rookie QB this year, but it’s a smaller gap so people don’t want to spike the ball on him being the best yet.

Disastrous in terms of playcalling and game management. The D was mostly fine until whatever that awful 3rd and 11 defensive plan was. Losing Watson is the cherry on the shit sundae. Going to have to completely flip the script but I don’t see how they can at this point.

Just so frustrating, no reason to have much optimism in the playoffs when we can’t beat the top tier teams even though they have been close losses. So sick of beating ourselves and having a non existent pass rush in the big games. Jacobs fumble reminds me of the Big Dawg fumble in 2021 vs the 49ers.
December 30, 2024 at 12:51 AM
They didn’t get it on 4th and 3, what makes you confident they have a 4th and 4 goal line play in their bag. I’d beat you 3-0.
December 30, 2024 at 12:43 AM
If they didn’t pass up on a 40 yard field goal maybe they win by one. Points are not a bad thing.

11 wins and a playoff berth cliched before Christmas shows how strong this season has been. Love was a little off but the running game was outstanding and how can you complain about the only shutout in the NFL! Keep getting healthy and it’s a Merry Christmas indeed!

Holiday wins just give out that little extra bit of joy! Maybe because we know a bathroom pod is soon to follow. Back to back weeks of setting the tone early and getting contributions from all three phases is great to see. Happy Thanksgiving Lemps Nation!

My first blue sky comment! What a win especially for us Packers fans in Chicagoland. Red zone offense is concerning but otherwise the offense looked good against a strong defense. I did not understand the defensive plan at all. No pressure and soft coverage was far too Joe Barry-ish for my liking.
