I've tried so hard to not be a stereotypical transgirl but the pull of the programmer socks is too strong. I enrolled in the Harvard CS50x and its so much fun. Guess I have no choice but to buy a pair now.

I decided on supplies. The Koh-i-noor watercolour disks, Princeton aqua elite round 2, round 6 and 3/4" mop brushes and a couple Prime Art Waterpads. They're cellulose paper but good enough to practice. I was gonna buy them next week but my disability check might not come in🙃I'll just wait I guess.
I've been looking at the Koh-i-noor watercolour disks and Windsor & Newton cottmann brush packs cause they are cheap and have really good reviews. But yeah, paper seems to be the biggest issue. Luckily my brother has a few old pads I can use for so long. Just shocked at how expensive it can get.

Sometimes I wonder if artists on here think I'm a bot. I just imagine them seeing notifications about someone liking almost all their art posts and a follow with no comments, reposts or anything. But I can't help it if my discover page is filled with amazing art and artists.

Went back to Twitter for my bimonthly check in and Holy shit its bad. My feed was full of right-wing rage bait bullshit I never interacted with, with only occasional posts from people I actually follow. In contrast to here where I'm spoonfed art, gamedev and vtubers. I'm so glad I left.
God I love bluesky so much. My feed is full of amazing artists, game devs and indie vtubers. The Algorithm Gods are feeding me well😁

Trying to get back into a consistent study and practice routine after spending the entirety of December relaxing, drinking and playing commandr is hard asf. It feels like I'm starting over again and my hands forgot how to art or guitar. Hopefully I can get out of this rut soon.

Seeing all the cool stuff people are doing with godot and blender on here really makes me miss my pc. Hopefully I can't afford to fix it soon but until then I'm stuck with my old, broken phone🙃

I've heard that posting your art regardless of how bad it might be to yourself is a great motivator. I don't really draw anything besides bad fundamental practices but I might start doing that🤪
