Managed correctly, sheep, goats, and pigs can also contribute positively to a healthy eco system and environment. I manage predation (nature tax) without harming any predators, and we have an abundance because they have sufficient natural prey. Predators are an integral link in our ecosystems.

Christmas lunch on the spit

We woke up this morning with 9 more mouths to feed.

Another baby joined us on the farm this morning. This was, at most, 30 seconds after its delivery.

A breeding pair of Secretary Birds live on our and our neighbors' farms. Encountering them every other day is truly special.

Just kids being kids.

Today marks 3 months since your demons eventually took you. I can only hope that you're finally at peace.
