I would prefer to watch us replace Ter Stegen with a younger and more reliable keeper (since Szcznesny is old as well), but saying this is stupid–You can't ignore how many times he saved in the 2022/23 season and help us win the league.

Zirkzee deserved that goal. He has been good since he was subbed off in the first half against Newcastle. He might not be the striker required for Amorim's system but as a 10, he is doing well!

So, Valverde was injured, played out of position, in a team with terrible defensive performances this season, up against one of the most in-form teams in the world–yet he managed to be one of the best players on the pitch? That's unheard of.

Saw a lot of people making fun of Liverpool's performance last night. Yes, they were bad and should have lost, but imo, if you want to win trophies, these are the types of games that you must know how to win—games where you must be able to grind out results despite being poor throughout the 90 mins.

One thing people don't talk about enough is how the mentality and confidence of players has increased since Flick joined, and our 2 games against Benfica are great testimony to that.

Valverde's availability against Atletico will have a huge impact on the tie. Atletico uses a lot of movements in the final third and the diagonal runs from their WM is something that could cause RM harm since their FB position is very weak–Fede could strengthen it.

People don't get this—Neymar's peak was when he was at PSG in 2017 and this is something he himself stated. If not for his injuries, he would have such a brilliant season. 28 goals and 16 assists in 30 games isn't normal.

R9 is South American, so of course he is going to rank Pelé, Messi and Maradona ahead of CR7. I watched his clip, and as soon as he named his top 3, he also mentioned a few honourable mentions. And guess what? Most of the players he named were South Americans–Mainly Brazilians.

With the arrogance Jamie Carragher showed, you would think that England had won multiple major trophies during the last decade.

You can call Jose Mourinho whatever you want, but trust me, he is the last person who could be a racist.

Modrić is a great example of how technical ability remains unchanged regardless of age. He is still getting minutes and performing well at the highest level at 39!

Unpopular opinion: Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak have the best left-winger/striker combination in the Premier League right now.

People should understand that if Rashford joins Barca, he wouldn't be a guaranteed starter. He is incredibly inconsistent and doesn't provide the defensive contribution required for Flick's system. This is one of the reasons why Ansu Fati hasn't been receiving minutes as well.

Juventus now have more draws than Arsenal had in their invincible season and there are still 18 games left. Juve's inability to close games has cost them multiple points this season.

Rashford is a good example of what happens to players who aren’t coached individually. Comparing his 1st season to now, his game hasn’t evolved—he still relies on the same strengths, and early weaknesses remain. Leaving United earlier for better coaching and environment could’ve helped him thrive.

Look at this image. Liverpool is playing with 6 players in their own half–What is the result? RM's entire forward and midfield line is forced to push forward, which opens up a huge gap between their midfield and high-defence line. Slot's entire game plan was to open up spaces in RM's defensive setup

Istg if Leão gets consistent and starts helping defensively, he could be Ballon D'or winner....

Salah has been more consistent than ever this season, influencing matches even when he doesn't score or assist. In the past, there were games where he didn't impact play, but now he's crucial. It would be heartbreaking if he leaves Anfield (and Europe). Liverpool must offer him a huge contract.

I’ve enjoyed watching FDJ since his Ajax days. On his day, he's a top ball carrier and press-resistant player, crucial against high presses. However, his lack of defensive effort often lets him and his team down. If he improves defensively, he could be a key player, especially as a super-sub.

Scoring 2 goals at the Etihad within 20 minutes in a very important game on your birthday. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 has always been one of the most important players for Ange Postecoglou.

Matheus Cunha over the past few matches has been brilliant. Single-handedly making sure that Wolves doesn't remain in the relegation zone.
