There is honestly just too many people that are blissfully ignorant to our politics and how it works. The politicians in this country know this and take advantage of it.

I think that comes down to not understanding how to reinvest into community (or wanting to in most cases). But it’s also a problem that shouldn’t happen in the first place anyways. That separation in classes is the issue that created these billionaires in the first place.

The problem these billionaires MAY run into is that if they keep pushing down the middle and lower classes then they won’t have anyone to indulge in their product to make them wealthy. But at that point they will likely be wealthy enough that it wouldn’t matter.

The problem in America is the trickle down economics theory. It’s not true, nor has it ever been true. Add that to the taxation that creates wider and wider gaps between the upper and middle/lower class and we end up where we are currently and it’s only getting worse.

I think it’s not about the amount of money you have, it’s about how you spend it. I don’t think all billionaires are inherently bad. I look at someone like Mark Cuban that invested in Cost Plus Drugs and Bill and Melinda Gates who spend their money (and time) helping other less fortunate countries.
