well now absurdities are happening. things are being dismantled. irreversible harm is being done. it was never if, only when.
so now i'm going.
i see why he was mad. he realized he would be stuck in this mistake he supported, but too proud to back down.
& i refused to be stuck in a choice i opposed.

before the election, i told my dad i would leave if absurdity started happening. he was angry, said the things i think would happen, would never happen. my view & people like me are what is bringing the u.s. down. we're whiny, disrespectful, & don't want to do hard work.

the only people i can lean on or even talk to about what is going on here is my husband & his family. my uk family. people who i love and who treat me like actual family. i'm so thankful to have people on my side with an outside perspective. never once did i express a concern & get snark in return.

they won't give me more hours due to 'district policy'. i'd be over their 5.75 hr maximum by 30 flipping minutes. i have a 2nd job in the works to just try to save up as much as i can at this point because i have zero support for anything coming from my side of the family. slowly dying to survive.
