Just Crows

The crows made me do it.
Follow me, they will know.
A friend told me these photos would be perfect for a metal album cover art.
She doesn't like metal...

When you forget your umbrella at home but the light is good enough to pose for that annoying guy

Crows are omnivores.
They will eat almost anything available to them.
In this picture, the crow on the left is holding a bone in his beak.
The crow on the right, Fred, is saying: "Seriously now, a bone??? Wtf were you thinking Ted?"

In photography, crows are relatively hard to capture looking good.
For the camera sensor they're just a black subject against a bright background. Good light is important.
They also don't like to pose.
Food and shiny thingies might help in that issue.

This is a crow on a house.
It is also a house crow.
Splendid, isn't it?
Corvus splendens.

Here are some crows, doing what crows do.

Crows and ravens are different species of the genus Corvus, which belongs to the Corvidae family.
You can tell them apart from their size.
Ravens are bigger.
Some say "a crow is a bird with a beak, a raven is a beak with a bird".

At the beach the other day, I noticed a crow trying to sip beer from a can. 'Hot day and it's thirsty' I figured, so I poured some water in a plate for it to drink.
The crow gave it a try and then went back to the beer-can, together with its buddy.
Crows are clever. And they like shiny things.
