Me too but part of the problem is, even if I became interested, where would I even start? They've made it such a huge universe, with the stories/characters interwoven throughout all the movies. I don't have the patience to start from the beginning but I also don't want to jump into the current ones.

but that's where your critical thinking skills are failing. there's no reason to jump from "don't want anyone talking to me when I'm wearing headphones" to "don't want anyone talking to me ANYTIME ANYWHERE EVER." the problem is in your faulty logic, not in what they're saying.

I'm not missing the point. There's a whole loooot of nuance missing from "communication is human nature." The two options aren't "live among other people and be obligated to give your time and attention to anyone who demands it" and "live off the grid."
