FaceTiming your olde relatives who keep trying to put the phone up to their ear

Did you read the article or follow basketball? Using AD, Kawhi and Zion as "proof" of increased injuries in 2025 is a losing argument

The number of soft tissue injuries is not up in 2025, and stars play less minutes now than they ever have

You clearly want all this to mean something that it's not
November 20, 2025 at 10:54 PM
It's not about "putting money first" because Kerr has zero evidence to back up what he's saying, they're just his gut feelings

Stars get more rest and play fewer minutes than ever before, most don't even play 65 game, so if he wants to cut the schedule that's going to impact everyone, he need proof
November 20, 2025 at 9:07 PM
That's a strange interpretation.

The reason it isn't changing is because both the players and the teams are not incentivized to change, because the money for both sides is guaranteed until 2030

Reducing the revenue pie based on Kerr's gut feeling would be beyond silly.

The players have never proposed a short season in any CBA contract negotiation. Pro sports is by far the most labor friendly business there is in that labor makes over 50% of revenue.

A bench guy making 8M a year isn't give back $ so a star making 60M plus endorsements can get some rest.
November 20, 2025 at 5:32 AM
You're only reading one half of this, there's no way the players (who get 50% of the revenue) would agree to pay cuts.

He's talking about everyone here.

The AFC is being led by Daniel Jones...
November 19, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Huh? If the 2nd best team in the conference is "not anywhere near a superbowl team" then either you don't understand the definitions of words, or you have an entirely different way to judge teams than anyone else watching the sport.
November 19, 2025 at 9:18 PM
It's a shame the conversation around it is so dominated by aliens talk when the simple truth of the matter is if aliens were smart enough to build a city sized ship to visit other star systems, it'd be traveling faster than 0.02% the speed of light.
November 19, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Like the World Health Organization This is literally from their website.

You know what? I'm just muting you now because thing single-minded desire to just not understand what "airborne" even means, means we can't even have a conversation.
November 6, 2025 at 6:21 AM
I literally quoted the CDC, but sure. All the years of studies that every health organization on the planet have conducted that or prove hygiene's impact on catching viruses are all lies.
November 6, 2025 at 5:08 AM
I wasn't ignoring it, sure it's possible, but the fact that it's most commonly spread through hands touching faces has been the stance of the CDC and WHO since the beginning, same with measles. And you are far more likely to catch either from the door knob than the air in an empty room.
November 6, 2025 at 4:57 AM
Yes, it's airborne which is why it survives on surfaces. I mean, I literally quoted the CDC's site about how people GET the virus which is the discussion

Masks prevent spread from people who have it, but most people get it when it gets on their hands, not because people are sneezing in their mouths
November 6, 2025 at 4:43 AM
The CDC, same with measles. Both are spread by people sneezing/ coughing, the way people catch it is by getting it on their hands and touching their face.

"If other people breathe the contaminated air or touch the infected surface, then touch their eyes, noses, or mouths, they can become infected"
November 6, 2025 at 3:02 AM
You *literally* said washing hands wasn't important, there's nothing to misinterpret.

I'll join you in a mutual muting and be on my way.
November 5, 2025 at 2:47 AM
Plenty of study's have shown how important it is to wash your hands to prevent COVID and other viruses like the flu

The idea that it's not important is laughable

Hanks is *far* more likely to pick up something serious from touching the subway bars than the mask will stop him for getting COVID
November 5, 2025 at 2:20 AM
If Hanks thinks he might have the virus, why is he on the subway?

While it's airborne, but it is spread through water droplets, that is why washing your hands and not touching your face is so vital

Mythbusters did a great breakdown of this years ago showing just how easy it is to get it on hands
November 5, 2025 at 1:59 AM
The Mayo Clinic says the same thing, masks prevent spread from people who already have it. If Hanks was saying "I don't know if I have it, so don't want to risk spreading" than that's fine, but he's not.

We can't say we're the party of science then just ignore it when we feel like it.
November 5, 2025 at 12:05 AM
According to the CDC and WHO, masks primarily prevent the spread

An N95 might prevent some particles, but the way you're going to catch an infection in the subway is by getting it on your hands

The reason surgeons wear masks is not to prevent catching a disease, it's to stop the spread to patients
November 5, 2025 at 12:03 AM
Masks primarily prevent the spread of viruses, it doesn't do much to prevent you from getting one. He's far, far more likely to get something on his hands then touch his face/eyes and catch it then having a mask catch something before he inhales it.

I'm not questioning his intent, but the science

"Theres a little kicking."

Everyone is hurt on the Pacers, so hopefully he'll actually get some run out of this.

I wish you all the best on your new endeavors, but I do hope you return for the annual "bad contracts" pod as it's one of the highlights of the NBA season! 😉

What ever people think of Ryan, he was talking about the stories he's heard about Sanders on the scout team meetings, and even ended with "if I'm hearing it, everyone in the league's hearing it."

So Sanders acting like this just confirmed everything Ryan was ranting about. Just a silly decision.

"Let me tell you why the thing I know very little about and haven't tried is wrong" is a shockingly common opinion in the business world as much as hobby space unfortunately.
