i was just making a comparison based on gameplay. Divinity and Ydivinity Original Sin are not in the same Genre of Games other than being RPGs.
Original Sin is turn based DnD like combat while Divinity played more like a witcher game.

Not really something they had to run from but one of my players got stuck in a locking mechanism for a door once and another player had to chop of his hand because the mechanism was siphoning his strength.

Divinity is not necessarily Divinity Original Sin. Those are different games. This might be different from the turn based games Larian has made recently but more like the Divinity games that came before Original Sin.

DnD 5e and have been playing consitently every 2 weeks eith the same group for almost 10 years. Havent played any others.

Not only that but for speedrunners this also means having to store their PBs somewhere else since you need to link the highlights to register PBs. This is a really bad move
