There is not a bandwagon that "Honest Bob" won't jump on right now, it is very obvious he fancies himself as Badenoch's successor. I don't think he realises though he can't court the far right reform supporters and at the same time attack one of their idols.

Sadly, that is going to be the sentiment that suppresses the vote sufficiently for Reform to grab a foothold.

The OP is correct, no-one I have seen is challenging the conviction, those that oppose the sentence ignore the severity of the crime because if they acknowledge it, they can't then criticise the severity of the consequences.

Not sure they are, timeline doesn't look that toxic. I think they just became invested in their opinion and are being a bit immature about it.

The problem with Starmer's position is he only gets a deal if he caves into Trump. But Trump only ever sees capitulation as weakness and like every bully, he will always exploit weakness.

It may be morally wrong, but it is also factually wrong. She was caught embezzling millions of Euros. If you are caught stealing millions, you should receive a very heavy consequence. That is the rule of law.
