I honestly can only see 2 versions of the future right now, Dems win on anti trump sentiment, again, elect fucking pete as president, nothing changes or gets done because 'following norms and restoring procedure' and then we get either trump again or trump 2.0.

Just like in the 60's with the civil rights movement and again in the 80's with gay rights, conservative fascists have weaponised the publics hate and intolerence into a 'legitimate' 'just asking questions' bullshit excuse to discriminate against a minority. And once again people have fallen for it.

This level of brain rotted evil that has taken over the UK in the name of 'womans rights' is nothing more than the 'save our children' campaign at the height of the gay rights movement both are bigoted counter movements funded by conservatives that achieve NOTHING for woman or children, NOTHING.

And just like before, this wave will recede and in 20-30 years time those that stoked this flame of hatred will either be condemned or forced into apologising. It happened with those who were segregated by race and most recently it happened with gay people and it will ring just as hollow as then.
