Had a lovely time at World Pride in DC two weeks ago with the Aces & Aros of the Mid-Atlantic group. There was a conference Fri where I got to meet UK asexual advocate Yasmin Benoit. Sat & Sun were spent with the parade, a concert, and the street festival.

Finally we adopted a bonded pair of cats three weeks ago. Adonis (all grey) and Ophelia (grey and white). They're playful and affectionate and settling into the house nicely.

Part 3 after lunch. Ended on a bit of a down note with a thrift store that I did not linger in. But all in all, a fun day and I definitely want to do it again.

Finished watching the animated show, Arcane, on Netflix over the weekend. It's based on a video game, so the story lines are a bit crazy, but it was fun.

I did a thing Saturday night. Very happy to see the traveling production of Moulin Rouge. I've loved the movie for years and this was a pretty faithful adaptation, with updated songs, and fun staging.

Only 2 1/2 years late reading this one, but I very much enjoyed it. So many cool queer people figuring out who they are amid the mysterious disappearance of the most popular girl at school. 10/10 Just read all of Casey McQuiston's books already.

We also had the pleasure of meeting adventure kitty Liebchen Travels twice while we were in Germany. He's just a chill dude, hanging out and seeing more of the world with his two humans.

We finished our trip in Koln & Aachen, Germany. Our favorite of the 4 markets we went to in Koln was the gnome market. We got home this morning and are currently working on getting back on Eastern time after our 11 days away.

One fun surprise in Strasbourg was running into two fanfares (brass bands) playing near our hotel on Saturday afternoon. We'd discovered them on our 2018 France sabbatical, so it was really great to see some again.
