A few years ago I realized I had very few women I admired so I have been on a journey to read and learn about all the invisible, powerful, inspiring women who invented, taught, and shaped our world.
Alice Guy-Blanche was the first to come up with the idea of using the newly invented camera to make "plays" and directed the first short video. She went on to become the first female director and first woman to open her own studio.
