He really doesn’t need a fierce Draconian on his case about unsightly behavior, and he definitely doesn’t need Cater to use it as an excuse to upload the memory to his Magicam or something and—“So? What d’you want?” Sebek’s mouth snaps shut audibly. It’s really obvious that he doesn’t want to be here either, but he pushes through whatever discomfort he’s having in favor of relaying his message. “I merely needed to inquire after your partner’s health!”

The Cold Rugleo, Twisted Wonderland, Mature --- Ruggie’s breath catches in his throat. He was supposed to be in for a shift today. Surely it should be coming around soon? Ruggie can’t remember what time it was supposed to be, and he doesn’t know what time it is now either. This is bad. He needs the money, and he needs to be on time, because getting there late will make him leave late, and then Leona will get on his tail for not bringing its dinner at the usual time, and… And Ruggie lifts his head again. He looks at the hand that’s not tied up to weird bags and tubs. He tries to move a finger. He can’t feel his arm at all, but he sees it moving. It takes effort and plenty of determination, but Ruggie manages to move his hand to his chest. He hooks his thumb under the sheet to lift it. Oh. If Ruggie’s body wasn’t already so cold, he’d be able to say his blood ran cold. There’s another green layer under the sheet, covering everything from below his nipples. Ruggie can see something that must have been the sleeve hole… But it’s hard to say for sure. And, in the middle of the fabric, there’s a huge stain, dark brown with burgundy edges. --- JustALilHime

I'm realizing a lot of people may not be aware of this but blocking a user on Ao3 DOES NOT prevent them from leaving public bookmarks because Ao3 doesn't consider it an interaction with the author even though it's linked to their fic 🫠 Their own words after I asked them about it in a news post:
Any examples provided are made up and do not refer to any specific user or work. We used hypothetical situations or selected commonly used phrases, so any resemblance to specific content is purely coincidental. In general, we consider blocking someone to be a request that the blocked user cease any attempts to directly interact with or solicit a response from the user who blocked them. Examples include commenting on someone's work or gifting someone a work. Both of these actions will typically generate an automatic email notification to the recipient, and are therefore considered to be an attempt at direct interaction with that person. In comparison, creating or editing a bookmark doesn't generate a notification to the work creator, so we don't generally consider bookmarks to be direct interaction with another user. A bookmark is created by and belongs to the bookmarker, and gives them a space to record their thoughts without sending them directly to the work creator. While public bookmarks on a work are linked so that they are more accessible to other readers, the bookmarks themselves are not considered part of the work. Each bookmark is only under the control of the individual bookmarker, not the work creator – when a work is deleted, the comments are also deleted, but any bookmarks will remain. Therefore, users are generally allowed to create a bookmark even if the work creator has blocked them. A bookmark that merely contains criticism of a work (as opposed to the work's creator) is very unlikely to result in a judgement of harassment.

I actually mentioned it in their news post about harassment and this was their response. I genuinely find the reasoning a little absurd as it just enables unnecessary negativity + if their definition of harassment is so narrow, then they should give authors more options to protect themselves.
