and a lot of them you won't like or even remember, but to someone that's their favorite. I don't think it hinders the game in anyway and you don't need to collect the patterns unless you want. Just get what you like or looks cool. I could go on for hours about destiny but I'll leave it there for now

There's some other things I can agree with or at least understand why people are upset though. Like crafting feeling underwhelming. My response to this is yes, but I compare it to something like pokemon. There's over 1000 pokemon-

Destiny is a good game when you don't have people shouting at you that's it's awful or unbalanced or whatever. Some try to compare it to warfame cause it's a looter shooter, but what destiny does and the story it tells is unique, and I've not seen or played another game that does what destiny does.
