All of this is good business. It's smart. It protects your employees, your users, your company, and your investors. Responsible AI also increases the rate of AI adoption, according to Accenture. So whether you call it responsible AI, or you call it good business, I hope you'll seriously consider it.

Establishing clear procedures & guidelines:
• Establishing crisis management plans/mitigating risk with AI
• Creating data & AI governance policies, systems, procedures
• Establishing company values and policies that guide AI creation/use
• Recording AI use cases and evaluating them for risk/harm

Knowing your stuff:
• Understanding your tech - what you're building, using, and deploying
• Understanding the areas of risk with AI (biased data? non-transparent model? company data being fed into AI that's not approved for use?)
• Knowing when to use AI - and when not to

👉 Companies are renaming their responsible AI functions so that they aren't as explicit. "Trust and Safety" AI roles are now "Standards and Enforcement" roles.
