They just announced “$xxx billion dollars in U.S. investments” to appease Trump and just like during his first term they just wait him out and then back down on the deal.

He wants China to peg the Yuan with the dollar, which would make their labor and their products less attractive globally. China would be destroying themselves if they agreed so the war is on…

I don’t think anyone expected China to respond so aggressively so quickly. I thought they would use the opportunity to steal our allies and seem like the adult in the room.

If this is true (Politico is awful) Democrats will lose by more in 2028…Keep playing for moderates instead of being extremely populist and the candidate will lose every time going forward. You lost 2024 because your people stayed home not because Trump got more votes than 2020 #democrats

If there was ever a moment to perfectly summarize why democrats should focus exclusively on populism...it is this. No more chasing after moderates. Take back the populist position from MAGA who is winning in that area while being completely disingenuous with an entire cabinet of billionaires.
