The concept for the Rock type is that they look like Espeon statues as a form of camouflage. Perhaps they come in multiple material colors depending on where they evolve?

Steel type. Robot dog! There are so many directions you could go in with steel but I had to keep it sensible so it would still read as an Eeveelution.
