This may be pathetic and narcissistic, but it would be nice if someone sent me flowers without it having to be my birthday.

I'm lying here in bed. Feeling like death and wishing I could pull out the boulder in my throat. Then I hear the leaves and branches of the trees in the yard. The gentle breeze and the leaves being the only sound. I'm realizing that even though I'm sick, I'm not miserable. I feel at peace.
