And maybe Congress should pass a law that provides penalties when Ice or the federal government violates individuals constitutional rights. Allow citizens to sue. Only a joke, Congress would never pass protection like that.

Watched Dana Bash confront Greg Bovino this a.m. it is quite clear while loyalty is a prerequisite for a position in the administration gaslighting also appears to be required. Second observation, Bovino needs to go back and take a refresher course

Thankfully, looks like Minnesota is having a Gandhi moment. I salute them for not giving Trump what he wants.

Pretty sad when your immediate thought upon DHS holding a press conference is to question whether it's true or not. Frankly, if DHS were Pinocchio they could hold the press conference while sitting in DC and their nose would be in California.

Third shooting in Minnesota. Always could be brought to an end if the cowardly Republican congressman stand up,grow a set and do their job, rather than collecting a paycheck for kissing Trump's butt. Unfortunately, this is not about policy it's about the survival of democracy.

@theweekendmsnow.bsk I don't understand why the question is immigration. I believe many more people support what has happened at the border and are angry regarding what has happened internally with ice and border patrol. The polls are likely to reflect quite different numbers

The administration argues that based upon unproven allegations they have the right to fire a fed gov without due process. Just doesn't sound fair or what America stands for. Pretty sad argument for our government to make.

Seems kind of strange, President Trump it's ready to drop bombs on Iran to protect the protesters, yet in the United States

I find it interesting, the supreme Court focuses on original intent, their guiding principle. Yet,they continue to ignore the true original intent of our founders. The separation of powers established by the three legs of our constitution to protect from a Donald Trump type abusing power.

Much like the tech companies, oil companies invested huge amounts of money into the Trump campaign. Now, like the tech companies, they are reaping their rewards. Surprise... Not

Apparently Trump's desire to resurrect unsuccessful ideas from the past has once again risen to the surface. As though spheres of influence has appeared to be his philosophy, has he now expanded it to include establishing colonies?

Maybe everyone should have taken notice of trumps and current to disregard the law when almost a year ago he disregarded the law and said tick tock keep operating now contrary to law we're going to have a coin with his image on it he's going to rename the Kennedy center. Never mind the vanity projec

Almost 80 years ago, President Truman said"the buck stops here. In other words it stops at the top. Once again this administration breaking norms has now said the buck stops at the lowest point. Accountability?

Rather than a cabinet meeting, today's fiasco appeared to be a contest to see who is best at putting lipstick on a pig.

I'm just so happy to hear Donald Trump is lowering prescription drug prices by 800%. In other words they're going to pay me to fill the prescription. The only problem is with the price of health insurance who's going to write the prescription?

With all the talk of the Epstein files, Justice for the victims and accountability, I have not heard one person express concern about additional victims, apart from Epstein, from the predators associated with him still on the streets.

being president of the United States of America is probably the most powerful position in the world. In his quest to be a king Trump may find himself being King of a much diminished USA across the world. Like Putin who wanted no Ukraine in NATO and wound up with two new ones on his northern border

Is it true the democratic senators who voted to end to shut down are forming a musical group? The name will be the Chamberlains,in memorial to Neville Chamberlain, and their first release is named "Surrender"

Dear President Trump,
I am writing to ask you to explain why if other countries are paying the tariffs Americans are required to feel pain? Also, you say we are getting rich from the tariffs, could you please send me my share things are a bit tough these days.
Sincerely,
American taxpayer

Dear Mr Trump,
You appear confused about the meaning of pro bono. I thought I would help clear it up for you. Pro bono does not equal free, it equals"for the public good". Unfortunately, this appears to be a hurdle too high for your administration to jump over.
Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
USA

Trump can negotiate all the trade deals he wants. The question is the resulting growth in mistrust, loss of respect and dislike will be worth it. As General Petraeus said we must win the hearts and minds. Pretty tough to do with today's leadership in the United States.
