The intersection of politics & psychology is where my interest lies. George Lakoff has been a longtime favorite of mine because this is exactly what he writes about (although he's neither a psychologist nor a politician). From before the golden escalator moment.

Nothing screams peace in the Middle East like a US occupation of land.

Canada announced a plan to invest $1.3 billion in border security in December 2024. It has nothing to do with Trump's tariff threats. It probably had more to do with controlling a potential outflow of folks from the US.

A picture of a few of the people who WON'T be experiencing the pain of Trump's decisions. They won't notice the increased cost of food, gas, cars, housing, healthcare, health insurance. This "let them eat cake" demonstrates his complete disconnection & apathy toward 99% of US citizens.

It's almost like Trump knows that the cost of tarrifs will be passed on to US consumers when he decided to place only a 10% tarrif on energy resources from Canada.

I'm looking forward to the 1st journalist who asks him to explain this.

Throwing facts at someone is more likely to cause defensiveness than change their mind. Asking questions is more likely to activate the discomfort of cognitive dissonance and, hopefully, the critical thinking skills necessary to cause a shift.

Its wild to call it a “hand gesture” without providing ONE EXAMPLE - in 2 centuries of photography & film- of that gesture being used by anyone other than Nazis

If someone says that Elon was just awkwardly offering his heart felt thanks to the audience, ask them to video themselves doing the same and post it on social media.

Let me know how it goes.

If anyone says that "DEI hires" don't deserve their jobs, first ask them how they identify a "DEI hire" and then ask them why they believe that person lacks the qualifications to have their job.

Let me know the answers.
