I like the holidays, especially the Christmas season, but I HATE TO BE COLD. I keep checking the forecast, day after day, for any sign of improvement, but the cold weather just keeps coming, with no relief from warmer days in sight. BRRR!

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade began in 1924. The first one featured Macy's employees in costumes, live animals from the Central Park Zoo, and ended with Santa Claus arriving at Herald Square. The event was a success and became a tradition.
