Brother he’s been with the first team for 3 years. A 23 year old should be an upgrade from Melia - Timmy was not a top keeper the last two years, and I think it’s logical to try and upgrade at the position. Sticking with Jon, a known quantity, is absurd from the FO.

Again, he’s making a lot of saves because he’s facing a lot of shots. 99th percentile of saves doesn’t account for where he’s parrying shots. His lack of vocal command of the defense. - There is no other club in the MLS where he starts.

That’s just factually untrue mate. When is the last time you saw him make an extended save further than 6 yards away that wasn’t a 1v1? He doesn’t make saves other goalies make. Positioning is poor outside of 1v1. Even there, still a downgrade from melia.

I’d argue that high percentage is because we give up so many chances. Also - 51% isn’t elite shot stopping by any means. Only Seattle have a worse save percentage in the league right now, and they’re unusually low at 42%

This is absolutely damning IMO. Other than shot stopping - which says nothing about where he’s partying the shots, he’s only green on goal kick length and “launch” - genuinely they’re probably people on the street in kc who can do a better job than Pulskamp.

Mate it’s been three years plus his time in SKC2 and he’s consistently had stats below that of the average keeper in both the MLS and Next Pro. It’s not really debatable any more.
