I was nervous to take the kids to a protest, so we drove past the nearest one several times, honking, waving and smiling. Not as much as I wanted to do, but it was an ok compromise. I think the kids thought i was nuts tho...opening the car windows on a rainy day so we could hear the chanting.

When you open a bee colony, they buzz. It's the most beautiful sound in the spring! I checked the 3 hives that i knew were alive, and then went to open one of the ones that had no activity...when I lifted the lid they buzzed! I almost cried! Their entrance was blocked, but they were still alive 🥰

The birds appear to have had an interesting morning 🤣
