Mood boards don't really do much for me — I'm not visually oriented like that — but I did just realize that invoking the media (or specific scenes therein) is akin to that, the same as making playlists to invoke a vibe.
I could just write out a list of tropes, I guess, but why?

Might be a rockfish, might even be a scorpionfish, but it was doing a great job pretending to be completely inert. I ended up watching its gills move to be sure. A few minutes later, it was swimming around its tank.

This stingray kept doing laps around the bottom of the space and would swim super close to the others lying in the sand. Was wondering if maybe it was being territorial over the best spot to people watch.
