I am obviously a big fan of tanks but Leopard 1 in this setting is plain wrong.
Skyranger needs good mobility platform with some recoil absorbing capacity and light armor. Not 70mm rollled honogenous steel armor. It is too heavy for nothing. See russian SA-19 Grison.
