Should step down, the 8 that voted for what the party and the country opposes should be censured, and removed from committees. To give away the only leverage they had is an unforgivable betrayal. I hope their constituents remember their weakness!

I knew it was bad in Ontario and Alberta, I did not know there were so many provinces in the pink which means we are starting winter with it. Tears for unvaccinated children.

It is a real shame that a life-altering disease can bankrupt a family.

It's just cowardly, and that's from a Canadian point of view. I can just imagine the disgust you Americans feel right now!

Right?!
November 10, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Yup, they went against what the party wanted and what the people wanted. They should never be able to recover from this.

I think it's safe to say they were pretty done with politics, because they would have to be idiots to not realize they have ended their careers.

And for some strange reason, these feckless Dems believe the country should thank them. I can thank them for Democrats with a big FU and see you all during the primary season!

I'm in NB, so I can't speak to how he is governing, but I remember he drew a very distinct line through the CPC and the Provincial PC Party. It was so bad that Jenny Byrne threatened him.

Tensions with N.S. premier simmered as Poilievre made his sole stop in the province | CBC News
For the first time this campaign, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre made a stop in Nova Scotia on Thursday — the second province he's visited led by a Progressive Conservative premier conspicuously...

Actually, Tim Houston of NS told the CPC during the election that the provincial PC party is not the same as the national one. I think Tim is closer to the center than the CPC, and he wants people to be sure they know the difference!

Higgs got worse over time. Once he had the majority, he started going further right. He made his own bed, so we gave him time to lie in it. He didn't expect to lose, and he certainly didn't expect to lose his seat. He believed his conservative riding would back him, but they didn't buy his brand!

Slowly, Holt wasn't counting on Trump when she won the electio,n so there have been some necessary changes to her agenda, but she is making steps forward!

Yes, and Canadians are quietly patriotic, getting louder every day! I love it!

❤️

Yeah, we kicked Blaine Higgs out while he and Chris Austin were trying to pull NB to the far right, so we have Liberal Susan Holt now. With any luck, that crazy right conservatism will be voted out provincially for years to come in NB!

Yes, and her Christian values, haha, allow for that, yet she thinks she has the right to tell someone else who to love. She can't decide on who to love from one day to the next, she has some nerve hiding her hate and loose lifestyle behind a deity!

I couldn't agree more! That party has made it quite clear they want to be like America, something most Canadians agree we don't want!
