I rarely see adds on anything, other than instagram and Reddit and a few other sites, since I started using an ad blocker on my browser (uBlock Origin on Firefox and Brave) and VPN (Proton). It’s made most sites usable again.

I did my job. And then I did a job that never should have been my responsibility afterwards, sending emails and having meetings about how this was allowed to happen in the first place. Other women scholars had to spend their time explaining to Aspen leadership why this was not ok.

BlueSky could have shared a screenshot of my tweet showing the Oct 10 timestamp and that I was using Johnny Cash lyrics to quote-tweet about an article on Johnny Cash. Instead, they made it look like I issued a random death threat and falsely claimed I posted it this week. They should apologize.

I'm profoundly grateful to BlueSky users who supported me and called for my reinstatement. When I got suspended, I was not told why the first two times I inquired, or that it was for 72 hours. You forced BlueSky to respond and to issue a correction for one of the lies they told about me. Thank you.

I think I might just have to do the same and find/ watch this fan edit. My rainy weekend just started looking better.

UPS has done this to me also (though without requiring a signature). I'll be waiting, usually outside or doing work in my living room near my door, awaiting a knock or doorbell cam alert. They just lie when they want to be lazy and UPS customer service is useless.
