At risk of misremembering, doesn't the construction crew refuse to do their job because they're pissed off at Wade? And it's played as petty grievance instead of criminally negligent. I dunno, I haven't watched it since it was in theaters but that is the impression that stuck with me.

Like, the shop not being up to code is bad enough that it justifies shutting it down, but the incredibly dangerous flaw in the infrastructure up stream, which is the real reason there was water in their shop in the first place, doesn't get any sense of urgency from [...]

I've lost much of the details of the movie but I remember leaving the theater incensed that it, if I recall, displays a really egregious example of. I believe the term is environmental racism? And the movie seems to not care about it at all?

I Must show my bighorn sheep bias, but owls would be really cool too!
