anyway i don't think there's really an excuse to use gen ai. it's awful for the environment, it can be really expensive and. it's not even that good. if you're going to waste away thousands on technology, you may as well just get the sims at this point. you'll even fit right in with the community!

THERE IS ALSO PHOTOGRAPHY!!! WHICH IS AN INCREDIBLY EXTENSIVE ARTFORM!!! yes, you still need to learn photography, but it doesn't require those same motor skills!!! it's almost entirely knowledge based!!!

and if you want to create the images you have in your head there's the obvious thing of learning art, but if you can't be bothered, i'm being serious when i say gacha life 2 is a really powerful tool for that. also the sims again. i often use the sims to come up with character dersigns.

if you prefer the social aspect there are entire game genres that can also do that. we have life sims, dating sims, VNs, all sorts. the magic 8 ball thing was a joke, but i'm being serious when i say i used to have a c.ai addiction that went away when i got into the sims.

if you want a machine that simply agrees with you on almost everything there is an invention that has existed for almost 79 years. it also comes with the incredible new ability to say "no" and has one million times more aura than chat gpt.

i guess i should just be thankful that a lot of my stuff is drawn in ms paint with visible pixels, because if there's one thing i've seen ai consistently struggle with, it's pixel art. so if my paranoia is to be believed and someone decides to use my art style to create an ai art page, i might be ok

i don't really care *too* much about my art getting scraped for a wider bot because there's not enough out there to influence how all ai images look. but from what little i know about the technical side of ai images, i know you can create your own mini models and replicate my art from that
