Maybe this was obvious, but I've seen a lot of discourse concerning what the difference is. Pentious learned his lesson. He learned from his mistakes. His lesson was bravery and selflessness.

Was this glaringly obvious to everyone but me? Did I miss this?

Don't worry, he's my favorite too. Like, I ADORE this sweet idiot of a man. From the moment we met him, he's had a special place in my heart! Let them make fun! Take comfort in the fact that you would get a rubber duck and they absolutely wouldn't for their transgressions XD
