took the little security camera from uplink and stuck it in the spot where barney spies on gordon from the surveillance room in blue shift. just make sure to RP walk past the scientist or else you'll break canon

scientists working at consoles and computers will now have audible typing sounds to accompany them! these types of changes are admittedly small, but i feel can add a lot to the game's atmosphere.

wasn't quite sure where it would've been heard originally, so i decided to place it in the airlock before you're let into the labs.

the toxic waste spill has recieved a small makeover.
by editing the lightmaps, i've added a glow to the surrounding environment. i plan to do this with all instances of green goo.

i've added an intro stinger, i think it fits nicely.
barney is without his sidearm and vest, as implied in blue shift, and you can now hear the guard on the other side of the door trying to unlock it for him.

one goal with this project is to strengthen the connection between half-life and its later expansion packs, without coming off as fan service. at the moment characters from opposing force, blue shift and decay likely won't be making any new appearances, but they may be referenced in subtler ways.

the goal of this project is to revisit half-life's campaign and improve on certain aspects such as visuals, enemy encounters and scripted sequences, while not straying away from the core gameplay experience. as such, this will be a small scale mod and there won't be many changes to the map geometry.
