Went to Boston Hill with Loki this morning hoping to get some bird pictures, but the only good photo I got today was this curved-bill thrasher after he made a mess at my home birdfeeder.

My new pal, Loki. Adopted him Saturday from the local shelter. He is starting to learn the routine and the cats are hissing at him much less today. I think he’s a good addition to my little fur family.

So I guess I should make a first post. Here’s some cool critters I’ve seen lately.
