Page 1 of a comic, a black creature in a warm colored forest with the sun setting behind mountains hears a loud sound coming from nearby. It startles them and they decide to follow it. Page 2: a wolf is howling on a rock. The creature trips on a stick behind the wolf, and it turns around startled by it. The wolf growls at them and walks towards it to investigate. Scared the wolf will hurt them, the black creature begins to change its form. The wolf looks at it confused. Page 3: the creature transforms into a black wolf. The wolf walks forward to sniff them, but it only growls as soon as it gets close. The other wolves are watching, seeming aggressive towards the stranger black wolf. the first wolf barks at the creature to scare them away. Page 4: The creature flees from the wolves, running away. As it slows down, the creature shrinks, seeming upset and scared. They find a hollow at the bottom of an old tree as it becomes night time. It sits down inside, curls up and weeps to itself.

This sketch night at UVU hosted by sketchbook destroyers was a BLAST! It was so nice to doodle with so many great people.

Made me realize that I’ve been drawing and sketching in solitude for the last several months. 😅

I’d love to change that and attend more events like this in the near future!

Muscles, bone structure, etc. done with a thin black pen an art gallery white wall with pieces of drawing paper pinned to it, some papers are light grey and others are brown. each paper has sketches on them, including things like environments, characters, animals, funny or cute sketches. Most are in black and white. But some papers have a splash of color. Like red, yellow, blue, purple, and green. A square shaped piece of paper pinned to a white wall with two tacks at the top and bottom of the paper. The drawing on the paper has a variety of wolf heads at different angles and expressions. the heads all merge into each other in a variety of angles, with many different focal points. The heads are drawn with black pen. the eyes and mouths of every head are colored with red pen, adding a splash of color. the expressions range from angry to growling, many with wide open maws baring their sharp fangs. The style is loose and sketchy.
