Not hard to blame Stearns for thinking people like Manaea wouldn’t regress, or that Holmes would struggle transitioning to starting, or expecting anything from Frankie Montas. #Mets

Stearns shouldn’t have counted on Manaea or Senga. Manaea had half a good year in 2024 but hasn’t been very good most of his career. Senga was great in 2023, not so much in 2024, and can’t pitch on regular rest. You need actual reliable starters that can pitch more than 4 innings. #Mets

Problems started long before the trade deadline. I said back in February that the rotation wasn’t good enough. Either Stearns is an idiot or thinks we are, yapping away about how pitching lab would make these guys good. #Mets
