Spent the loveliest day wandering the Oz Museum. Took a zillion pics of memorabilia, a few selfies, many pics of the poodle, and had such a nice day I can’t begin to adequately describe it. It was also quite toasty, so I am exhausted (without tipping over into heat exhaustion). I 💚 air conditioning.

I had a visit from a pair of unspeakably cute goldfinches this morning! Yes, the pics were taken through a window, so the adorable little female is slightly obscured by the screen, but gosh, it was a bright spot to see them today. 🥰

Duh. Stop trying to move right in an attempt to woo more conservative voters. They’re not gonna join us. They love authoritarianism. We need to focus on the disenfranchised progressives and moderates, not by abandoning our principles but by fucking standing for them in a meaningful way.

After his morning constitutional, Axel came into the house full of energy, stole a sock, ran and pranced around the house, exuberantly flinging the sock and, inadvertently, flipped BOTH his ears inside out. He came over to make me pet him, and had to tolerate my cackling. Last pic: all is well.

Diving into this drama tonight! Honestly so excited to see my girl Song Zu’er back on the screen after that little tax mess… didn’t expect to ever see her again. Glad they sorted it out so I can enjoy this drama (and the gorgeous theme by Ayanga). 🥰
