Outsider communities living on the fringes of Prospero's Dream. People on the lower decks on the edge of something worse. Decent folks, and parts of the Dream its easier to love than the raw cruelty of the G2B home turf. A small town neighbourhood worth fighting for.

Taking a stab at trying some layout in Affinity rather than with scissors and tape and I deeply regret to say that it is actually quite useful for working out how much word I can fit on the page before I spend several hours cutting and pasting.

Tentative style test to round out the weekend. Content is very placeholder but am happy with the vibe visually. Need to spend some time with mothership proper rather than just via #over/under before i can really feel confident writing the mechanical parts of this, hence no stats in this draft.

Having a lot of fun porting characters forwards. Im particularly fond of having Tan go from "XO" to "Ex-O"

making some nice progress on my lil post #over/under zine. Its quite fun trying to immitate some of the style of A Pound of Flesh when all you have is google docs
(I intend to run this all through some hand collage later to give it the real juice!)

I think some folks at Empire dont realise the Empire not doing slavery doesnt make having it occupy your home then force you to contort to one of 10 national spirits or live a life as a "foreigner" in a tiny enclave a desirable state of affairs

Have been doing some stork sketches inspired by some of the new star names on the Empire lrp wiki. I landed on the reds and golds after my character got paid to think about Tassato and i thought id lean first on the city colours. Super happy with them.

Painting is all about working out exactly how little lighthouse you can get away with depicting in your painting of a lighthouse being eaten by a shark that is also a storm that is also a god (but calling it one upsets the preists)
