2/ The philosophical / temporal anecdotes didn’t give the book the depth it seeks.

I feel like I’m missing something considering the book’s success.

2/ I’ve spent a lot of time in Anglesey, and I felt very transported to and immersed in that area when reading this.

A haunting presence throughout and a mysterious ending resulted in me taking a little longer to fall asleep than usual after I finished reading 🫣.

Feel sure I’ll reread.

Also popped into the Highland Bookshop in Fort William. In the absence of luggage allowance permitting book purchases, photographs of book reviews / recommendations (which I always love to see) were all I could take.
