Because Senators of BOTH parties work in DC - and most have homes there - and none of them want to be in a hellhole

Seattle claims it's police department is badly understaffed. However, they are able to spare 16 officers to stand around a bunch of striking Starbucks workers. There were fewer strikers than cops.
