My favorite dynamic was probably from shinji and toji. The whole storyline between them makes it so sad. Pretty sure in the aftermath toji loses an arm and a leg.

I was sick, and there was pretty much nothing I could do, so I used that time to watch it. It's definetly a series I'll have in my backlog of my mind. I prepared myself mentally that it will go dark.

I see I watched it. And the movie 🥹. The movie helped fill the void that the show left me. Also I was suprised about things ending in a more depressing note, I mean the movie did in a way, but I don't there was anything preventing that huge amount of destruction

Felt the same way, scratching my head every episode thinking what's happening, up until they explain a lot of details later on and you understand more. Loved the series though, didn't need an explanation video or anything.
