Got me thinking of an old issue - early Jubilee appearance (Uncanny X-Men #247)... She finds a picture of the X-Men which calls them that and she goes "I don't get it, the folks I followed here were like all GALS, so howcum they call themselves "X-Men"? Unless--ick, too totally gross!" It was 1989.
