Fabulous floofy goldendoodle (and sometimes husky) in Seattle with way too many hobbies and is also made of dogs. Musician, seamstress, one time fursuit maker. 32•Bi•He/him 🔞
Indonesia is one of my favorite Mountain Goats songs to play (along with Masher and Earth Air Water Trees) and it's definitely not the easiest chord progression to remember unless you've internalized it well. It's clear how much work and caring craft went into writing it!

Then that same conversation plays out in the other direction before fizzling out.

Or when a variation of that doomed conversation happens even just talking about bands that you like when meeting someone at a party or such. 🙃

That and this sort of conversation always happens:
Them: "You make music? What genre?"
Me: "I'm a little all over the place, but I'm really influenced by [band], [band], and [band]"
Them: "Huh, I've heard of [band 3], never listened to them though."
Me: "Yeah they're really good!"

Oof yeah, music has a similar but far worse problem just because it requires devotion of linear time, it's just not as flexibly consumed as digital art.

Today's find: FX containers, i.e. nested FX chains so one can automate an entire FX chain as a group with just one lane. Obvious, but still...🤯

Seriously! And that Cardassian bisexual carpeting is wonderfully groovy.
For some reason both times I've tried to watch it I've ended up stopping partway through season 4, which is where everyone says it starts getting really good. Hopefully someday I'll finish it.

looks like my proofreading skills have gotten worse since then though oops

Luckily my most important work was on a separate HDD, but a lot of smaller projects, like all of my embroidery stuff, random things I'd just throw on the desktop, plenty of other things I will suddenly be remembering in the coming months, all gone 🙃
It being an SSD really limits recovery options too
