I did a number of the quests w friends but also the last 10-15 solo. Some required entering some dangerous spots but there were many you can avoid other players just by sneaking around or saying "don't shoot!" Honestly this game is well tuned for PVE.

it's kinda insane how it has moved the extraction shooter genre forward in so many ways. having played ALL of them thru the years, it has demonstrated you can make it accessible for a broader audience and yet still be "hardcore" in other ways. also The Cycle walked so Arc Raiders could run lol

Also Charlie Hunnam absolutely deserves his flowers for an incredible performance as Ed Gein. He disappeared into that role. Holy smokes.
