A screenshot of my Spotify which displays the song “Soy Sauce for Geese (America Stage IV) Geese Howard” song from the Fatal Fury Special Original Soundtrack. The joke is I am not listening to the band Geese that everyone is currently listening to, but rather I am listening to a classic video game track that contains the word “Geese.” It is the theme song of the series primary antagonist, Geese Howard. Geese has gone on to become a legendary gaming character appearing in many franchises, such as Tekken 7. Many are saying “Soy Sauce for Geese” is perhaps the greatest song of all time. Besides being a hilarious and relevant post, this also shows that I am have excellent taste and correct opinions. Geese is perhaps best know for his signature move “Raging Storm,” a notoriously difficult move to execute due to its complex input. The input is known colloquially in the Fighting Game Community (FGC) as a “pretzel motion” because it requires players to move the arcade stick in a pattern that resembles a pretzel: down back, then followed by half circle back, and finally followed by down forward plus both punch buttons simultaneously. Using common FGC “numpad input notion,” where each input direction corresponds to numbers on a number pad, the move is represented as “1632143.”
