What’s scary about the Trump admin is that no one wants to be a “target.” Universities could be making strong statements rebuking the ban of DE&I. Instead they’re “committed to attracting the very best talent, supporting our diverse community, and complying with federal law” (MIT). They’re scared.

I just started watching “20 Days in Mariupol” about the Russia/Ukraine war. It won the Oscar for Best Documentary. And it’s another reminder that wars are horrific.
My issue with #Wicked is not the movie. It was great. It was that we were all manipulated into going to it by a crazy amount of Marketing. Now Target is selling Wicked cosmetics. And no doubt they’ll announce a “Oz Land” at Universal Studios by 2026. Capitalism is destroying art.
