Have you tried the "Enhancer for YouTube" browser extention? Maybe there is a settting for it in there?

I've done several tours in MvM somewhere (I no high tour) and it's not as bad as people make it seem. I've never ran into any issues. Queue with friends if you are really worried. Try Two Cities to start off.
