I think Jayce felt used because he regretted and hated himself for diving into the political life and had so much guilt about missing the fact that Viktor needed help, so he wanted to blame Mel instead of facing his own choices. But part of his arc is accepting that his choices are his own.

tbh as much as official rereleases are good for accessibility, I also feel like a lot of people just won't play games if they don't have official versions and that's not great for culture. Everyone should be downloading random ROMs until they find that special one that breaks their brain wide open.

I get the sentiment but equating independent creators trying to sustain financial support in the same breath as the enshittification web 2.0 corporate feudalism is ghoulish

i've learned there's nothing more powerful then taking away engagement rather than giving it. engagement, numbers, replies, even quote posts are currency for social media. you're "paying" them to have a larger platform while they let you do the work of ratioing them and spreading to more people
