33. Ngl, this one took me a long time. There's a lot of tbw that I'm proud of, but these two are some of my favorite singular lines. The first, because it establishes a lot about HJ perceives the world I think. The second, because the contrast between divinity and humanity is so sharp (I hope).

Chaotic, wild laughter cracking through the light morning air. Fuck. Jongho tips her head back against the now-closed door, whines out a "I'm too fucking gay for this," and gives herself a moment to wallow in it. Twenty seconds. She gets twenty seconds to be miserable about the beautiful woman in her brother's kitchen, so unattainable and so everything she wants, before she moves on. Brushing her teeth goes fast, making her hair suitable does not, and it's another five and a half minutes before she makes it back into the kitchen.
