Started studying and learning Mandarin. Won't hurt being proficient in speaking the dominant languages of the #1 and #2 economies on Earth.

Gonna do the programming thing gradually though. Main focus for this year is paid social, PPC, digital marketing agency operations, project management, biz administration/networking, and sales/pitches.

Decided to dive into programming again to master data science, game theory, decision-making, behavioral insights, and more. Looking to understand and optimize human behavior through applied math and computer science. Time to turn theory into impact.

This also forces our more "elitist" members of society to participate in politics and government at the hyperlocal level and genuinely engage with the "masa". No chance at making a difference at the national level as a House Rep if you can't convince people at the barangay level. Love it.

Reason for ceremonial head of state: I like the idea of a nonpartisan unifying figure with limited last-resort powers. I also prefer swift time-limited judicial review over hard veto power.

Radical idea: Filipinos elect only the ceremonial head of state and barangay assembly members. Barangay officials elect municipal assembly members, who then elect provincial assembly members, and so on. This allows voters to focus on barangay candidates, while officials assess peers better.
